Handwerks is a service oriented textile business dedicated to educating, supporting and providing customers with high quality supplies and products. Handwerks offers handdyed yarns, antique circular sock machine (CSM) knitting instruction and supplies, hand cranked socks and handwoven textiles.
Laura Schickli, a knitter since childhood and biology teacher by training has been experimenting with yarn, spinning wheels, fiber, dye pots, looms, and flat bed and circular knitting machines at every opportunity. Handwerks is the merging of Laura's creative talents, technical abilities and teaching skills.
